Thursday March 3rd 2010

9:30 am – I was at LJES and Angela called, she was upset.  She told me she just wanted to just go home. She wasn’t having contractions but was just ready for Henry to arrive.  She had called her Dr. about induction but they said to wait until the next day at our regular apt to talk about it.  She said she would be ok, but I wanted to go and check on her.

11:00 am – I drove to Eastside Middle School to see Angela and tell her I was taking her home.  She ate lunch, told Ms. Franklin and we left.  On the way home we went to Sonic for a java chiller, they always make her happy.

12:30 pm – We got home and Angela decided to walk around the neighborhood with her ipod.  She walked for about 40 minutes. She came back and said she was having contractions, she thought.  Read the rest of this entry »

Today was Henry’s 1st Dr. visit.  He gained 5oz back and is now up to 8lbs 9 oz.  Everything went great, they said he was perfect!!  But everyone who has meet him already knew that.

So we brought little Henry home on Monday (very scary drive home).  My mom, sister and Angela’s mom all had been at out house cleaning and preparing for our arrival.  The first night was a learning experience, but not the sleepless night like i was expecting.  We’ve slowly gotten into a routine.  I go to bed a little early so that angela can stay up for a while with henry to feed him.  Then i get up in the middle of the night to feed him and we both get up in the morning to start the day.  So all in all everything seems to be going well.  more to come…..
