Gerry and I went flying on wednesday for a lesson.  We flew to bardstown and did some turns around my house.  Angela and Henry came out to see me fly by. Here are a few videos…

Thanks to Gerry Perkins I had my first flight lesson today. I can’t describe how awsome it was..I now have a whole .5 hours in my log book.  I met him and his daughter at Etown’s airport (EKX) around 7pm.  I learned about preflighting the aircraft, take offs, stright and level flight, turns, flying the traffic pattern and landing… All in a half an hour!!  Here are a couple pictures from the flight..thanks to Alex (Gerry’s daughter) for taking them! Oh and before you say anything…yes i’m wearing plaid and stripes at the same time..deal with it!
